Shadow as self

A documentary short using horror as a lens to explore disability and gender identity.

Shadow becomes the central device—introduced through projection and puppetry to shift how the subject is seen. Instead of a traditional talking head, identity is rendered through silhouette and distortion, turning something often used to obscure into something controlled and expressive.

The space is stripped back but intentional, anchored by a worn, horror-referenced chair and extended through projected titles and light-based interventions.
